In November 2008 The Charnwood Company purchased from OSPAP, the largest distributor of paper products in the Czech Republic, a 33,000 sqm warehouse facility in Prague – Štěrboholy. The sale lease-back transaction was financed through UniCredit Leasing. The property is ideally located in the Štěrboholy district of Prague 10 - on the eastern part of the City Inner Ring Road (Jižní Spojka) which links the important D8, D11 and R10 motorways, together with the D1 motorway to the south and benefits from excellent links to the motorway network.
The Charnwood Company implements a comprehensive asset management program focused on enhancing the quality and image of the facility. This effort has resulted in almost full occupancy of the project.
The project was changed from a single-tenant project to multiple-tenants one during 2017. Among the current largest tenants there are companies Papyrus Bohemia, Celní deklarace Žáček, ViT Logistics or Alef Nula.
In the 2nd quarter of 2019 the project’s leasable area was further enlarged by a new Class A storage facility of 5,000 sqm. This space has been built-to-suit for a single tenant, Transconsult International.
